Heloisa Fischer is a Brazilian communication consultant and educator who has dedicated her career to making public communication clearer, fairer, and more accessible. Her foundational work established plain language as a recognised professional discipline in Brazil.

She is the creator of the Comunica Simples Method — Brazil’s first structured methodology for teaching plain language, developed through years of research and practice with government agencies, universities, and civil society organisations.

Heloisa has trained thousands of professionals across Brazil, served on the PLAIN board, co-founded the Brazilian Plain Language Network, and is actively helping to shape national plain language policy.
